Scooter-X Dirt Dog Gas Scooter

The ScooterX Dirt Dog was born in mid 2002 and has been one of our best selling models since birth. At birth the Dirt Dog came with a 43cc engine, in 2004 it grew to a 49cc engine and added dirt bike bars, in 2006 we added the chrome engine, and now the Dirt Dog comes with larger MX style adjustable bars, stunt pegs, and 10" off road tires!

We consider ScooterX to be our top of the line scooter. We have seen great results and few problems with these scooters since the day we started selling them. These scooters are great for children or adults. Children or adults need to be careful when riding because these scooters are fast!

The Dirt Dog comes standard with the following listed features:

Dirt Bike style Bars

The Dirt bike bars are wider than the standard bar which give you more stability. The bars also give you up, down, back and forth adjustment.

49cc Gas Engine

This is one of the most powerful 49cc motors on the market. Comes stock with high compression head!

Top speed 25mph

Up to 33mph with upgrades! X-pipe and HP Filter

Centrifugal Clutch

This is an Automatic clutch

10 x 3.5 inch Dirt Tires

These tires are meant for on and off road use. They are a dual sport tire. The 2010 model has a more aggressive tire than previous years.

Front and rear Disc Brakes

Disc brakes are much safer than drum or band brakes(commonly used on Chinese scooters) for the fact that they work much better.

Twist throttle

This comes standard on all of our scooters. We find the twist throttles are longer lasting than trigger throttles do to triggers always break.

Aluminum Deck

Also standard on all ScooterX models is the aluminum deck. Superior to wood for obvious reasons.

Rear Foot Pegs

Great for riding doubles and doing wheelies.
